Capital Area Transit Authority or CATA
CATA serves the greater Lansing area including Michigan State University. CATA has multiple routes and stops located all over campus. MSU students receive a both a discounted daily fare and semester bus pass. To receive a discounted fare MSU students must show their student ID prior to paying. To receive a discounted semester bus pass MSU students can purchase a bus pass online on CATA’s website or at the MSU Union.
