Give back to the community through service!
The opportunities are endless! Service opportunities can:
- Take the form of a one-day project to a sustained opportunity lasting a semester or an academic year
- Take place in your local East Lansing community, the Lansing region, and even in nationwide or international settings
- Be on your own time, as part of an organization, or as a service-learning opportunity offered through an academic course
The first and most important decision is deciding you want to serve your community. Finding the opportunities is easy with the assistance of the Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement.
The MSU Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (CSLCE) has a history of linking students and faculty to community. They can help you find an appropriate opportunity that best matches your interests , your availability, and your time commitment
No experience necessary! The CSLCE provides orientation sessions regarding program expectations, logistics, safety, and other pertinent information for students.
