YouVote is MSU’s non-partisan voter initiative. Their website, www.youvote.msu.edu,  features up-to-date info on local, state and nationwide elections.   Exercise your vote!  Check it out.

The City of East Lansing is also happy to unveil A-Vote, the Absent Voter Online Tracking Engine.  This new software allows East Lansing residents to track the status of their absentee ballots!  More info is available online at www.cityofeastlansing.com/avote.

2009 Community Photo Contest- The Deadline is NEAR!
Photographers of all ages and skill sets are invite to submit up to five photos illustrating what they love most about the East Lansing community. Submit your photos online or by mail/delivered on CD to East Lansing City Hall (410 Abbot Road). The submission deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. The winning photos will be featured prominently in East Lansing’s 2010 Community Calendar & Annual Report- a premier publication mailed to East Lansing residents.
