Within residential neighborhoods, the City of East Lansing offers some guidelines and restrictions to keep the roadways safe and ready for usage.
The Parking and Code Enforcement (PACE) department offers the following general rules:
- Park in designated parking areas only [Sec. 302.11]
- No parking from 12 to 2 a.m. in residential zones within the city
- No parking on any street from 2 to 6 a.m.
- Don’t drive or park on the lawn
- All vehicles must be operable (no flat tires) and have a current license. [Sec. 14-36]
