At MSU
The Department of Student Life hosts an online listing service available at www.StudentLife.msu.edu/rentals . It is a free service, but you do have to register in order to look at the listings.
Within the City of East Lansing
The Department of Code Enforcement and Neighborhood Conservation is responsible for the safety of existing residential buildings. They manage the rental licensing process including the associated annual inspection process for rental properties. They can provide you with information about a rental property and its related inspections and property maintenance. They are a great resource as you consider your housing and apartment options!
